Table and Advanced Table are the two region types in OAF.
Both used to show the data in the Tabular Form like Column and Row basis but on the feature basis advanced table much better then the Table.
In Standard OAF pages , we can see , Oracle itself used advanced table instead of simple table in the Standard OAF Pages.
Both these regions shows the Data in the Tabular Form but Table is quite old region type in OAF as compared to the advanced Table.
Advanced Table :
Advanced Table is the New region style in the OAF Framework which has many other features as compared to the Simple Table Layout region.
Advanced Table provides better presentations of the data in the OAF page as compared to the Simple table region in oaf.
Beside the graphical look , there are many others tools and add On features available in the Advanced table in OA framework.
