Create a Responsibility and assign a Responsibility

It will contain the Application Name, Request group, Menu and Request Group. Responsibility we can assign to specific person or mutable people.

Create the Responsibility

Login to “System Administrator” Responsibility.

Navigation:-Security>Responsibility>Define

Enter the Responsibility Name

Select the Application Name from list of values

Enter the Responsibility Key and enter the Description is an optional field.

Select Data Group is Standard, Its common for all responsibilities.

Select the Menu from list of values.

Select the Request group from list of values.

After enter the above details save and close the form.

Menu:-It will contain the user access screens at responsibility level.

Request Group:-It will contain the List of reports, which has to be associated to the Responsibility.

1 Assign the Profile option to Responsibility

    Navigation:-Profile >System

Select the Responsibility “XYZ General Ledger”

Enter the profile option Name “gl%ledger%”  and Add your Ledger to your responsibility.

Click on "Find" Button
