Journal Sources

Source is the one of the journal component, which is used to identify the origin of the journal Entry.

Step 1:-Define the Source Name

Navigation:-Setup>Journal>Sources

Note:-All the sources are predefined, if we want Sources Name which can be defined.

Import Journal References:-Which is used for sub ledger journal sources like Payable and Receivables.

Require Journal Approval:-If we want to use the journal approval functionality this check needs to be enabled.

Freeze Journals:-If we enabled this check box, journals will not allow modifying or updating.
